One Stop Guide for Making A Full-Time Income Blogging.

Do You Know the No.1 Secret to Boosting ‘Genuine’ Email Subscribers?

no.1 secret for more email subscribers

The no.1 killer tip to increasing your email subscribers is this..

Put an opt-in form at the bottom of the blog post

Most people who visit your blog will not read your content… that’s the sad truth.

If they do read your content and they do make your bottom of the blog post, that means they like what you’re talking about!

They like what you’re offering to them..

And if you’re getting them to the bottom of the blog post, what’s the better time to take action?

The people who enter their email address at the bottom of the blog post also suggests that they actually read your content!

That’s a good person to have in your email list :)

’nuff said..

Now go and apply on your blog.

If you don’t know how to create an email optin form at the end of the posts here’s a small tutorial to create one.

Go to custom_functions.php

Add the following code

function afterpost_email() {

if (is_single()) { ?>

Paste your email optin code here [for AWeber users, it’s very easy to embed the single line java code]

<?php } }

add_action(‘thesis_hook_after_post’ , ‘afterpost_email’); [/alert]

And for those who’re using Feedburner..

  1. Thanks Rahul for mentioning my tutorial. yes, its recommended to have an Opt-in form below the post. Immediately after reading the article, users will have a choice to subscribe to your mailing list.

  2. Agree With You Rahul This The Best Way To Get Real Subscribers :)
    I Also Write Tutorial For Those Who Are Using Blogger Platform And Want To Add Subscribe Box Like In WordPress Blogs :)

      In that case, you’ll find the helpful tutorial for WP users on WPSquare (which I included in the article), and I’m glad to link to you if I ever need blogger platform tuts :)

  3. I am on Blogger and I am using one time jquery based Popup Email subscription form. It works like charm and I have saw the differences before and after. Also the one that is added below the post is good if we have that “dum” in content, which will hypnotize the reader for subscribing to E-Mail updates.

      Yep Anuj,

      Having an email optins at the end of the posts can definitely boost the genuine email subscribers.

      I just saw your blog’s optin forms, I’d like to suggest a small tip to convert more.

      Remove the “Follow us on” (FB, twitter links) at the end of the posts.. only include email optin form. By doing this, you’re giving less options to the readers, ‘less is more’ in conversions :)

  4. Hi Rahul
    I agree with you this best to icrease real subscribers but i use pop up feedburner subscribers form,its also increase my readers and direct traffic,but i try your email subscription also..thanks for sharing

      Hi Sintu,

      I’m glad that you’re already using them on your blog, keep visiting the blog form more interesting stuff :)

  5. This was useful for me. I haven’t added email subscription form below the posts yet but after reading this post of yours I am going to add it very soon..

  6. Hey Rahul,

    Thanks for the post. I have added subscrption box right after my content. Still I have to fix that enter email space.

    Best regards,

  7. Another good thing if they get to the bottom of your article: they might share it with their network! (if they liked it, of course) :D
